About the Role
We are seeking an Inventory Administrator to oversee day‑to‑day warehouse operations. You will manage inventory accuracy, facilitate smooth flow of goods, and support our supply chain services with minimal cost while meeting high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate stock records during receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Verify customers receive correct parts and quantities on time.
- Report inventory discrepancies, safety incidents, and other anomalies.
- Maintain the “Same Day Principle” for all warehouse tasks.
- Handle inbound goods: receive, inspect, barcode, and bin stock.
- Manage outbound processes: pick and pack goods according to pick notes and dispatch to local and export customers.
- Perform bin maintenance, housekeeping, cycle counts, and annual stock counts.
- Assist in perpetual counts and maintain accurate binning.
- Apply best warehouse practices for safety, cleanliness, and accuracy.
Required Skills and Experience
- Grade 12 or equivalent national certificate; relevant qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain is preferred.
- Valid forklift licence.
- Valid Code 10 licence.
- Mandatory SAP experience; SAP WMS experience is an advantage.
- 3–5 years of warehouse or store management experience in mining, construction or automotive sectors.
- Solid understanding of inventory concepts and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
