We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Software Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) Sales Hunter to aggressively pursue new business opportunities and drive revenue growth. This role requires a proactive sales professional with a “hunter” mentality, skilled at identifying, engaging, and closing new clients in the SaaS/PaaS market. The ideal candidate will have experience selling cloud-based solutions and be comfortable navigating complex sales cycles with C-level executives and technical decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Hunt for and generate new business opportunities and logos in target markets through cold outreach, networking, and lead generation.
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs, pain points, and fit for the PaaS solution.
- Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations tailored to client challenges and objectives.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations highlighting the value and benefits of the PaaS platform.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to successfully close deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to ensure client retention and upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecast monthly sales targets.
- Attend industry events and conferences to expand network and identify new prospects.
Qualifications
- Proven track record as a sales hunter in SaaS, PaaS, or cloud software sales with 3-10 years of experience.
- Strong ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and close deals independently.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience selling to C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and software development ecosystems is a plus.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 40%).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
