HR and Payroll Supervisor Wanted
A well-established company based in the East Rand is seeking a highly motivated HR and Payroll Supervisor to join their team.
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification
- Tertiary qualification or formal education in HR or Payroll (Degree/Diploma)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Own reliable transport
- Neat and presentable appearance
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Pastel Payroll expertise (mandatory)
Key Responsibilities:
- Full payroll processing for a group of companies
- Maintenance and management of employee payroll files
- Drafting and issuing of employee contracts
- Leave administration
- Staff loan processing and deductions
- Processing of monthly salary payments
- Preparation of monthly schedules for medical aid, pension, and union fees
- Payroll reporting and distribution of payslips
- Annual budget preparation for total staff cost-to-company (CTC)
- Administration of company policies and procedures
- Handling of disciplinary procedures, including issuing warnings
- Providing support and responding to employee queries
- Investigation and reconciliation of monthly salary control accounts
- Management of IOD claims and follow-ups
- UIF maintenance and submissions
- Annual/quarterly SETA and EE reporting
- Recruitment and liaison with agencies as needed
- Annual IRP5 and IT3 submissions
- Monthly EMP201 filing and Department of Labour declarations
