Hollywoodbets, one of South Africa’s leading brands, is looking for a Hospitality Assistant to join our dynamic Purple Team in Durban. If you enjoy working in fast‑paced event settings and have a passion for excellent guest service, we’d love to meet you.
About the Role
As a Hospitality Assistant, you will:
- Manage daily bar and catering functions across our various suites and venues.
- Coordinate with Hospitality Coordinators to ensure smooth service.
- Perform stock take, ordering, and reporting for all events.
- Prepare pre‑ and post‑event reports and manage event budgets.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety and comply with industry regulations.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Assist with market research and event performance analysis.
- Support ticket sales and attendance drives.
- Travel nationally and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s licence.
- 2–3 years of proven experience in bar and food & beverage service.
- 2–3 years in the event industry or stadium suites.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
