Purpose of the Position
This internship provides final‑year students with practical work experience that is essential for completing their tertiary qualification. The role is situated within the Supply Chain – Production team and runs for a 12‑month period starting 1 February 2026.
Key Learning Areas
- Quality Control & Assurance – intrinsic and extrinsic control, quality management systems.
- Research and development activities.
- Production processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Eligibility
- South African citizenship.
- Final‑year student with a National Diploma in Food Technology, Analytical Chemistry, BSc in Biotechnology, or an equivalent qualification; a satisfactory academic record is required.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Effective time‑management and ability to work under pressure.
- Team‑player who can collaborate with colleagues.
- Willingness to work extended hours and meet the physical demands of the role.
- Reliable transport to and from the workplace.
- Commitment to completing the entire 12‑month internship programme.
