Gold One Gedex Operation is excited to announce Internship Opportunities for 2026 in the field of Environmental Sciences. We are a prominent gold mining operation located in Brakpan, on the East Rand of Johannesburg, Gauteng Province.

About the Internship

This internship provides a valuable opportunity for graduates to gain practical, hands-on experience within a dynamic mining environment. Successful candidates will be immersed in the application of environmental science principles, contributing to our commitment to sustainable and responsible mining practices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Environmental Sciences or a closely related field of study.
• Must be under 35 years of age.
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must be currently unemployed.
• No previous formal internship experience is required.
• Must provide a clear criminal record (SAPS certified).
• Must be medically fit for the role.
• Preference will be given to residents of the Ekurhuleni metropolitan area, specifically from Springs, Benoni, Brakpan, and Nigel, in line with our commitment to developing our host communities.
