About the Role
The Senior Software Engineer will join our dynamic product development team. You will lead design discussions, mentor junior developers, and work closely with product managers to build scalable solutions that deliver value to our customers. The role places a strong emphasis on clean code, test‑driven development, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality software in a fast‑moving environment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product, design, QA) to prioritize features and deliver on schedule.
- Write clear, maintainable code and conduct code reviews for peers.
- Mentor junior developers and share best practices across the team.
- Participate in technical architecture discussions and help define long‑term product roadmap.
- Identify and remediate performance issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their applicability to our products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, as well as experience with React or Angular.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and working with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and testing strategies.
- Proven track record of delivering high‑quality code in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of performance profiling and optimization techniques.
- Background in cybersecurity best practices and secure coding.
