Job Description

First National Bank (FNB) is looking for a dedicated and proactive Personal Assistant III to provide comprehensive support to an Executive and their Business Unit. This role is designed to handle a wide array of professional and personal tasks, enabling the Executive to concentrate on high-level strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Act responsibly with all work-related resources to help contain costs and improve efficiency.
  • Effectively plan, schedule, and manage the Executive’s calendar and activities to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Continuously self-assess performance, actively seek feedback, and request development opportunities to enhance skills.
  • Produce high-quality work by adhering to predefined standards, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Deliver on all contracted performance objectives according to set procedures and service level agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory, legislative, policy, and governance requirements.
  • Contribute to a culture of service excellence by building positive relationships and providing opportunities for feedback.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Efficiently coordinate meetings, manage diaries, and assist with meeting logistics (e.g., catering, room setup, attendance tracking).
  • Arrange both local and international travel efficiently.
  • Prepare detailed meeting agendas, accurate minutes, and track action items.
  • Consolidate and maintain records of monthly management reports.
  • Provide reminders to the team regarding deadlines, tasks, and upcoming training.
  • Assist with the onboarding logistics for new team members, ensuring their integration into various groups and meetings.
  • Facilitate and organize team events and social activities.
  • Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks and capture expense claims.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A formal PA or Administration qualification is highly advantageous.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar support role.
  • Proven experience in coordinating complex diaries and meeting logistics.
  • Experience in making detailed local and international travel arrangements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
