Job Summary
We are looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Training Scheduler to develop and manage training plans for our Flight Deck crew. The ideal candidate will ensure all training is compliant with regulatory standards and company policies, coordinate travel and accommodation, and support the smooth delivery of all required training.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate training plans and schedules for Flight Deck crew.
- Review and update training plans, schedules and rosters to meet
regulatory and company requirements. - Identify potential issues and work with the Training Administrator and
relevant managers to resolve them. - Roster employees for all training: ground, simulator, initial, recurrent,
command evaluations, Flight Deck and Cabin Crew annual medical checks. - Book simulator slots and coordinate all training-related bookings.
- Schedule and re‑schedule training as needed while maintaining policy and
regulatory compliance. - Arrange hotel rooms, duty travel and transport for trainees.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (essential).
- Tertiary qualification in Administration (advantageous).
- 3 years’ experience in the airline industry, with at least 1 year in a
planning or scheduling role (essential). - Knowledge of the aviation industry, rostering systems, CAA and IOSA
requirements. - Familiarity with scheduling tools.
- Proficient use of MS Office suite.
- Strong planning, organising, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
