About the Role

The Apprenticeship Programme at FLSmidth combines classroom learning with practical, on‑the‑job training in Fitting & Machining. Successful completion awards a trade certificate and prepares participants for a career in the mining and cement industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled training sessions and workshops.
• Apply theoretical knowledge to real-world projects in a technical environment.
• Follow safety and quality standards in all tasks.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification with English and Mathematics (level 3 pass or higher) or N3 Mechanical qualification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen interest in engineering.
• Basic technical or mechanical experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
