Job Description
This Learnership is a full‑time development role that combines a formal, registered qualification with practical work experience at FirstRand. As a Learner, you will be responsible for delivering tasks that help the business achieve its objectives. You will work in areas such as research, analysis, administration, and project support, while also contributing to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all tasks and deliverables assigned by your team
- Conduct research and analysis to support business decisions
- Manage administrative duties and maintain accurate records
- Assist with process improvements and project documentation
- Identify and report potential risks that could increase costs
- Demonstrate cost‑conscious behaviour and awareness of personal impact on costs
- Adhere to financial processes and operating standards
- Apply FirstRand’s shared values and customer‑first approach in all interactions
- Resolve customer complaints, taking ownership of the problem and communicating effectively with customers
- Collect and use customer feedback to improve service quality
- Maintain accurate activity reports and respect company policies and procedures
- Seek innovative ways to optimise workflows and maintain operational efficiencies
- Contribute to the alignment of business processes with customer service goals
- Provide input to line managers on opportunities for process and system improvements
- Support teamwork by working collaboratively to achieve shared goals
- Show respect for diversity and inclusive values
- Identify personal development gaps and create a personal improvement plan
- Review and update your development plan with a team leader regularly
Required Qualifications
You must be able to undertake and complete a registered qualification while working. The role is designed to provide additional work‑related training to support your learning.
