Reporting To: Manager: Billing & Management Accounting

Job Purpose

To manage the billing process for all Power By The Hour (PBTH) contracts, Time & Material projects, training programmes, and ad‑hoc support services.

Principal Accountabilities

• Billing
  • Prepare timely and complete invoices for PBTH and T&M revenue.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies, issuing credit notes where necessary.
  • Reconcile monthly invoices with customer statements.
  • Track contract expiry dates and apply rate adjustments as needed.
  • Send invoices and statements to customers each billing period.
• Projects Control
  • Issue and manage project numbers for business use.
  • Verify correct project numbers are loaded in the system.
  • Ensure completed projects are closed and billed.
  • Resolve interface errors when projects are missing or not closed in SAP.
• Reporting
  • Provide monthly and year‑to‑date revenue reports per GL account.
  • Publish project reports showing value of open and closed projects.
  • Balance debtors invoices with client statements.
• Costing
  • Review costs booked to projects before billing to confirm profitability.
  • Maintain tables in the CO/SD module of SAP.
• Ad‑Hoc Duties
  • Support other financial tasks as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• Preferred: Diploma in Financial Accounting.

Knowledge and Skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet.
• Intermediate knowledge of SAP R3 (Sales & Distribution, FI and CO).
• Intermediate skill with SAP Simplified Interline Settlement System.
• Advantageous experience with AMOS – Material System.
• Advanced experience in a Revenue Accounting environment.
