Job Description

We are seeking an IT intern to support the information technology functions that underpin our mining operations. The role reports to the HRD Officer or a nominated supervisor and involves hands‑on work with systems, security, and data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the mine.
• Help implement new software and hardware solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation and training materials.
• Support data backup, recovery, and security protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant degree or diploma in Information Technology.
• Strong alignment with the values of Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine.
• Medical fitness certification in compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996.
• Commitment to the company’s Employment Equity Plan and Mining Charter objectives.
