Tender Administrator

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Tender Administrator to join our team at CSA Head Office in Helderkruin. This position reports directly to the Group BiID Manager and plays a crucial role in our business development efforts.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for tender submissions, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining profitability. You will collaborate with various teams across the organization to gather and analyze data, develop effective pricing strategies, and monitor market trends to help secure new business opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric certificate
- B Degree/Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field (advantageous)
- 3-5 years of experience in tender administration
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Willingness to work extended hours when required
- Clear criminal record with no pending cases
- Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport
- Residence within the West Rand area
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze tender documents and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates and pricing proposals
- Review tender costings against specific tender requirements
- Thoroughly review tender files against requirements before submission
- Manage, update, and report on the tender pricing template monthly
- Assist branches with increase schedules and wage-to-revenue calculations
- Update, manage, and report on the annual tender schedule
- Track tender performance and analyze successful completion rates
- Implement systems to enhance the effectiveness of the Tender department
- Read and understand RFQs, BOQs, and all tender specifications/project specifications
- Ensure timely submission of quotations and tenders to clients
- Prepare and attend presentations when required
- Prepare and present cost analysis reports to Senior Management for decision-making
- Ensure all tenders are delivered on time and within scope requirements
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of pricing data and tender submissions
