Job Description
FEM is looking for a Creditors Clerk to work at our head office in Rosebank, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will process supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time, using Sage X3. The role ensures all creditor transactions are recorded in line with our financial controls, company policies and accounting standards.
You’ll build positive supplier relationships through clear communication and quick resolution of queries. You will also support internal and external audits by providing accurate, up‑to‑date documentation. By keeping the creditors ledger clean and reliable, you’ll help the Finance Department achieve efficiency, compliance and financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices and payments promptly.
- Record creditor transactions in Sage X3 accurately.
- Verify payments against purchase orders and contracts.
- Reconcile creditor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to supplier queries in a timely manner.
- Support audit activities and supply necessary documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12.
- Diploma in Financial Accounting.
- At least 3 years of experience in creditors payments.
- At least 2 years of experience in general financial administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience using Sage X3.
- Knowledge of company financial policies and procedures.
Preferred Experience
- Financial accounting in an insurance environment.
- B.Com qualification.
