About the Job

We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our Receiving Department. The role involves handling fresh produce and consumable stock, ensuring accuracy in quantity, quality, and expiry dates. You will move goods from the delivery bay to warehouse storage, keep the area clean, and help with returns.

Key Responsibilities

• Check each incoming shipment for correct quantity, quality and expiry date.
• Move stock from the outside delivery bay to the appropriate indoor warehouse locations.
• Condense stock when the warehouse is not at full capacity and maintain a tidy receiving area.
• Assist with the handling of returned items, collecting them from designated areas.
• Operate a BT and/or forklift when required (a licence is necessary).

What We Look For

• Experience or training in FMCG and fresh produce sorting and organising.
• Clear criminal record.
• No drug use.
• Matric (NSC) pass – please include a copy of your certificate in your CV.
• BT and/or forklift licence preferred; please attach proof in your CV.
