Learnership Technician – Eskom

About the Role

Eskom, South Africa’s national electricity utility, is inviting applications for a Learnership Technician. Selected candidates will receive structured, on‑job training and may be placed within the PTM Operations unit of the Generation Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in a formal learnership programme that combines classroom instruction with practical work experience.
• Apply knowledge of electrical systems and safety procedures under supervision.
• Support daily operations and assist senior technicians in maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.

Minimum Requirements

• Full completion of S4/S5 (Electrical – Heavy Current) at NQF Level 6 (240 credits).
• South African citizenship.
• Will undergo a recruitment process and, if successful, be placed in PTM Operations within the Generation Division.
