Position Summary
We are looking for a semi‑skilled Utilityman to join our team for a BCCEI Limited Duration Contract. The role involves a wide range of civil works, including electrical and heavy labour tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, moving equipment and materials. The ideal candidate will work safely, efficiently, and support our construction and maintenance projects across Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Care for tools, equipment and keep work areas orderly.
- Adhere strictly to Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) policies.
- Assist in compiling Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRA).
- Support team members through conflict resolution and effective communication.
Required Skills
- Strong physical stamina for semi‑skilled duties.
- Ability to use power and hand tools safely.
- Good knowledge of civil and cabling construction practices.
- Capability to work at heights with proper safety measures.
- Effective time‑management skills.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Basic understanding of occupational safety rules and regulations.

- Aware of relevant work procedures in the discipline.
- Basic understanding of safety rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of OHSA.

Minimum Requirements
