Ekurhuleni West TVET College is seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated Hospitality Trainees to join our team at the Kempton Campus. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience in the hospitality field while contributing to our educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compiling and placing orders for kitchen supplies and equipment
• Conducting regular stock taking for both food items and kitchen equipment
• Managing stock keeping and issuing ingredients as needed
• Assisting with nutrition and menu planning activities
• Supporting lecturers during class demonstrations
• Preparing food for the campus crèche
• Liaising with suppliers and generating quotations
• Assisting with event and function planning
• Maintaining MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) in the kitchen
• Ensuring kitchen OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) administration is current
• Supervising students during functions and restaurant days

Minimum Requirements:

• N6 Hospitality Certificate
