About the Role
As an E‑Commerce Sales Assistant, you will support our daily deals team with a mix of administrative tasks, market research, and deal preparation. You’ll be the link between suppliers and our internal teams, ensuring accuracy, timelines, and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily administrative tasks, including email follow‑ups and call logs.
- Support the account manager by reminding them of pending tasks and deadlines.
- Gather and compile data for new deals – product details, pricing, images, and descriptions.
- Perform market research to identify potential suppliers and products.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, checking on order status and quality.
- Upload deals into the backend system with complete, accurate information.
- Help monitor and track supplier performance to drive growth.
- Present deals and technical information clearly and engagingly.
- Prepare spreadsheets and reports for sales campaigns and meetings.
- Test new products and ensure they meet our quality and specification standards.
Required Knowledge & Experience
- University degree (BSc/BCom) or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
- At least 1 year of sales or relevant experience.
- Good understanding of product planning and logistics processes.
- Strong people skills and an intuitive sense of customer needs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, multitasking, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint and general internet use.
- High attention to detail, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude toward feedback.
