Job Description

At Premier we invest in our employees for the long term. We look for people with the right skills and attitude to thrive in a high‑performance environment. As a Driver Salesman you will manage vehicle loads and routes, improving customer service and driving volume growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep trucks tidy and clean at all times.
• Report any incidents and accidents quickly to management.
• Ensure all proof of delivery (POD) documents are signed, stamped and returned.
• Monitor fuel usage and meet company targets.
• Control stock and pallet loading/offloading, ensuring 100% accuracy.
• Complete daily vehicle checklists and report defects.
• Reconcile shipments at the site after each route.
• Handle banking of cash receipts and return all PODs.
• Attend inventory management meetings (Invocoms).

Qualification Requirements

• Matric qualification
• Valid Code 10 driver’s licence
• Proof of Driver’s Pre‑test (PDP)

Experience Requirements

2–3 years in a similar role.
