Learnership Overview

This learnership leads to a nationally recognised FETC: Long Term Insurance NQF Level 4 qualification. It combines structured learning with practical workplace experience in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Medical aid client servicing in a call centre setting
• Claims processing and new business handling
• Administration of health benefits
• Perform other related tasks as required to support the GAU Service Team

Education & Experience

• Grade 12 essential
• Mathematics: Minimum Level 4 – 50%
• English: Minimum Level 4 – 50%
• Mathematics Literacy: Minimum Level 5 – 60%
• Second language: Minimum Level 4 – 50%
• Any tertiary qualification, even if incomplete, is an advantage

Eligibility Criteria

• Not enrolled in post‑matric studies or formal employment
• No prior learnership experience
• Age between 18 and 25 years
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel & Outlook)
