About the Role

Discovery Health is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Work Integrated Learner to join our team as an HR Intern. This role is based within the Performance Services Department, where you will gain invaluable hands-on experience in a corporate HR environment.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Performance Services Team, providing crucial support with day-to-day HR administration. This internship is designed to offer a comprehensive learning experience, equipping you with practical skills and knowledge in various HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with recruitment administration processes.
  • Performing general HR administrative duties.
  • Compiling and assisting with reports.
  • Accurate data capturing and management.
  • Organizing and maintaining filing systems.
  • Providing administrative support for various HR projects.
  • Acting as an ambassador for Discovery Health Performance Services.

Education and Experience Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric certificate with a minimum of 50% for English.
  • Must have completed an N6 in Human Resources at a TVET College.
  • This qualification must have been completed within the last 18 months.
