Job Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for an experienced cleaner for our Sandton Gate store. The role involves keeping the store floor, stock room, dispensary, admin office, and canteen clean and tidy while meeting Dis-Chem’s hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the store, shop floor, and communal areas before opening.
- Create and follow cleaning routines to keep all areas spotless.
- Keep the canteen and restrooms clean and stocked at all times.
- Attend to cleaning needs during operational hours.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment for each task.
- Display wet floor signs when cleaning floors.
- Assist customers politely and professionally.
- Follow health and safety regulations.
What We Require
Essential
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Minimum 6 months of cleaning experience.
- Good command of English.
- Basic customer service skills.
- Ability to work retail hours.
Advantageous
- Bilingual abilities.
- Previous experience cleaning retail stores.
