About the Role

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for a dedicated Gift Wrapper to join our team in the Westrand. Your main responsibility will be to wrap and decorate customers’ purchases with high quality gift‑wrapping paper, ribbons, bows, and tape. You will ensure every package is presented beautifully and professionally.

Key Tasks

• Assist customers in selecting suitable wrapping materials.
• Wrap each package neatly and in line with company guidelines.
• Remove price tags from packaged products and attach gift receipts.
• Keep wrapped packages organised and store them in the designated holding area.
• Complete any additional duties as requested by management.

Customer Service Expectations

• Provide friendly, helpful, and courteous assistance to all customers.
• Greet customers warmly and identify their needs.
• Resolve all customer queries promptly.
• Always wear the correct uniform and name badge.
• Report any suspicious or inappropriate behaviour of staff or customers to management.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric or Senior Certificate.
• South African citizen.
• Clear criminal record and credit history (professional MIE clearance).

Competences

• Attention to detail.
• Basic customer service skills.

Remuneration

Stipend.
