Purpose of the Role

Deliver outstanding customer service and product sales over the phone. As the first point of contact, you will quickly build trust, identify customer needs, and match them with the right Dis‑Chem Life products.

Role Summary

This is a fast‑paced, high‑volume sales position suited to people who thrive in a busy call centre. You will manage both warm and cold leads, guide callers through our simple sign‑up process, handle objections, and close sales confidently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell Dis‑Chem Life products via inbound and outbound calls.
  • Build rapport quickly, identify customer needs, and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Handle objections effectively and close sales confidently.
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales KPIs.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records of customer interactions in CRM systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant sales, regulatory, and company processes.
  • Represent Dis‑Chem Life with professionalism and a customer‑first focus at all times.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of call centre sales experience (life‑insurance sales a plus).
  • Proven sales track record with consistent KPI achievement.
  • Clear credit and criminal record.
  • Availability for weekend work, when required.
  • RE5 Certification – advantageous.
  • COB Certification – advantageous.
  • Reliable transport to and from the office.
