About the role
We are looking for a curious, proactive, and social‑first thinker to join our Social & Influencer team in Cape Town. If you love culture, keep up with trends, and want to see how content drives business, this internship is for you. You will help create content, manage the community, support campaigns, and track performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Support
- Create short‑form videos for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook – filming, editing, and writing captions.
<li Draft social copy that matches our brand voice.
<li Plan content ideas, build weekly calendars, and schedule posts.
<li Find trending audio, memes, and moments for inspiration.

<li Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions across all platforms.
<li Interact with followers to build brand personality and loyalty.
<li Highlight risks, trending conversations, or opportunities in real time.

<li Coordinate with influencers – track posts, collect screenshots, and review content quality.
<li Prepare briefs and moodboards for creators.
<li Cover live events when required.

<li Prepare weekly and monthly reports – pull metrics, track sentiment, and draft insights.
<li Monitor competitor content and industry trends.
Required Skills & Competencies

<li Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and online culture.
<li Basic video editing skills (CapCut, VN, Canva or similar).
<li Strong writing and storytelling abilities.
<li Good time management and attention to detail.
<li Curiosity, willingness to learn, and a can‑do attitude.
Nice to Have (Not Required)

<li Photography or videography experience.
<li Graphic design skills (Canva / Adobe).
<li Experience running personal or student social accounts.
Qualifications

<li Recent graduate or final‑year student in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
<li Portfolio or examples of social content (personal TikTok counts!).
