Internship Overview
The Amandelbult Complex is launching a 12‑month internship programme to give candidates hands‑on experience in their field of study. Preference will be given to applicants from host communities, employees’ beneficiaries and those with disabilities.
Host Community Clusters:
- Baphalane Ba Mantserre
- Bakgatla Ba Kgafela
- Baphalane Ba Ramokoka
- Thabazimbi
- Moses Kotane Municipality
Beneficiary Details
A beneficiary is a family member who is financially dependent on an employee and is registered with the pension/provident fund. Typical beneficiaries are spouses, partners, children, parents, brothers or sisters with the same surname. If the surname differs, an affidavit is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in mine survey activities and support data collection and analysis.
- Participate in safety briefings and follow all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on project deliverables.
- Document and report findings in a clear, concise manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum: National or Advanced Diploma, Bachelor, BTech, Honours Degree or similar in Mine Survey.
- Knowledge of survey techniques and basic geospatial tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Willingness to learn and work in a challenging environment.
Additional Information
Applicants will undergo a Medical Fitness Test and other assessments as part of the selection process.
