A South African company specializing in solar energy solutions is seeking a highly skilled Digital Specialist & Performance Marketer to lead the optimization and expansion of their digital presence. This role requires expertise in creating and executing performance-driven strategies to significantly increase online traffic, conversion rates, and ROI. The successful candidate will serve as a thought leader in performance marketing and SEO, consistently identifying innovative ways to maintain a competitive edge.

Responsibilities

Performance Marketing:

  • Develop, manage, and optimize high-impact paid digital campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and TikTok Ads to achieve superior ROI.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance based on key KPIs, including CPA, CPC, ROAS, and conversion metrics.
  • Execute A/B testing to refine and scale successful campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to produce data-driven ad creatives.

SEO & Content Optimization:

  • Lead the development and execution of advanced SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, drive traffic, and enhance user engagement.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical audits to inform optimization strategies.
  • Manage on-page, off-page, and technical SEO to improve website visibility and domain authority.
  • Drive content strategy initiatives, aligning keyword insights with search intent to enhance relevance and user value.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Provide detailed analytics reports and strategic insights, delivering actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Use advanced tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Hotjar to measure and report campaign effectiveness.

Strategy Development & Leadership:

  • Serve as an authority in performance marketing and SEO, staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Proactively recommend innovative strategies and technologies to maintain a competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business Analytics, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, SEO) are strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Performance Marketing & SEO Specialist in competitive digital environments.
  • Track record of managing high-budget digital campaigns with proven growth in traffic, leads, and conversions.
  • Advanced proficiency in analytical and SEO tools, including Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs.
  • Experience in data-driven decision-making and proficiency in data visualization/reporting tools.
