A vacancy exists for a Customer Success Manager at our client’s office in Midrand.

About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to manage the complete customer lifecycle, including onboarding, support, and account management. The role focuses on delivering hospitality business solutions, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth

  • Ensure successful customer onboarding and drive strategic growth within your portfolio of customers.
  • Position the hotel product offering for growth and engage in pre-sales activities.
  • Focus on complex sales opportunities requiring creative solutions.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews to ensure renewals.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products and services to customers.
  • Communicate customer sentiments internally and increase customer advocacy.
  • Foster long-term relationships to help customers achieve value from our products and services.
  • Bridge the gap between sales and support teams.
  • Develop resources to help customers fully utilize products and services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
  • Assess client risks and opportunities.
  • Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying technology to client businesses.

Sales and Marketing

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive innovative solution roadmaps.
  • Ensure customers’ software solutions are up to date with the latest functionality.
  • Develop customer-specific offers with the sales and marketing team.
  • Participate in sales efforts and networking activities to enhance company reputation.
  • Identify opportunities to add value through product knowledge and best practices.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Degree or Diploma in Business (advantageous).
  • Thorough knowledge of the Opera product.
  • 10 – 15 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Hospitality qualification essential.
  • In-depth understanding of industry operations, including finance, sales, and HR.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strategic planning and business development experience.
