About the Role

Curro Holdings is a JSE‑listed independent school provider that offers high‑quality education from early childhood to Grade 12. We are looking for a Part‑time Student Teacher to join our Midrand campus, starting in January 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, record and report on student assessments.
• Attend grade/phase meetings, workshops and forums.
• Work closely with phase teachers to ensure effective classroom management.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Assist and promote teaching and learning activities.
• Support sport and cultural activities within the school.
• Help with administrative duties related to sport and other school functions as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Availability of a SACE Certificate – temporary or full.
• Current enrolment or qualification in an education programme from a recognised institution.
• Clear criminal record.
• Strong personal commitment to education and willingness to uphold the school’s values and ethos.
• Enrolment in a 3‑ or 4‑year B.Ed. programme or completion of a Post‑Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
