About the Role

Truworths is seeking a passionate, well-groomed, and highly motivated Cosmetic Consultant to represent prestigious beauty brands Clinique and Estee Lauder at our Westgate store. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone who thrives in a target-driven environment and has a genuine love for the beauty industry. The ideal candidate will bring high energy, exceptional customer service skills, and a keen interest in cosmetics to this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed set weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Perform professional makeovers and provide expert beauty advice to customers.
• Develop a deep knowledge of your counter’s products as well as those of other beauty houses to provide informed recommendations.
• Handle all necessary administrative tasks and paperwork accurately.
• Participate in stock takes and maintain accurate stock counts.
• Ensure the counter is always clean, tidy, and presented to the highest standard (housekeeping).
• Liaise effectively with brand representatives.
• Actively participate in promotional events and in-store activities to drive brand awareness and sales.

Qualifications and Experience

• Approximately 1 year of experience working with cosmetic products is highly advantageous.
• A basic understanding of how to perform makeovers is required.
• A passion for beauty and cosmetics is essential.
