Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance skills in database design principles, mastering the use of SQL for querying databases, and effectively managing database systems.
- Perform data mining, extraction, and reconciliation from a wide variety of data sources.
- Analyze and collate large volumes of information to identify patterns, trends, and effective solutions.
- Process, cleanse, and validate the integrity of data to ensure it is accurate and ready for analysis.
- Assist with the update and maintenance of the internal Technology catalogue and process register.
- Support Business Analysis efforts and contribute to process documentation as instructed.
- Generate comprehensive reports and create presentations that clearly and effectively communicate data-driven insights to various stakeholders, including the Executive Committee (Exco) Team.
- Continuously stay updated with the latest developments and trends in data analysis, machine learning, and financial markets to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements within the organization.
- Engage with various teams across the business to broaden your knowledge of different asset classes, which will enable you to optimize data analysis and better understand business requirements.
- Fulfill ad-hoc data and analysis requests as and when they are required.
Ideal Qualifications
This is a graduate role; however, the ideal candidate will possess:
- A relevant Honours or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or Finance.
