Job Summary
The Call Center Agent will act as the primary communication link between CIDB, contractors, clients, and the public. The role involves answering calls, managing queries, maintaining records, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate the daily operations of the call centre and meet daily, weekly, and monthly call targets.
- Record and update all relevant communications, logs, and data accurately.
- Handle general queries and refer escalated calls or emails to the Call Centre Overseer.
- Support the Overseer in resolving complex customer issues and maintaining error-free service.
- Promote a positive image of CIDB and encourage goodwill among customers.
- Maintain call centre equipment, report any damage, loss, or theft promptly.
Requirements
- National Diploma or NQF Level 6 equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service environment.
- Knowledge of the CIDB Act and Regulations is highly desirable.
- Experience in a call centre setting is an advantage.
