Job Purpose
To deliver exceptional customer service and support store operations during the busy festive trade period, ensuring every customer has a memorable and positive shopping experience.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and offer friendly, professional assistance throughout their shopping journey.
- Respond to basic customer inquiries about products, providing helpful and accurate information.
- Assist customers in locating products or direct them to the appropriate store sections.
- Execute all merchandising tasks according to store standards, ensuring displays are attractive and well-organized.
- Efficiently restock shelves and maintain tidy, orderly product displays.
- Process customer purchases by wrapping and bagging items carefully.
- Inform customers about ongoing promotions, special offers, and festive store events.
- Help maintain overall store cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Work efficiently within set guidelines and timeframes to meet daily targets.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 certificate (Matric) is required.
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service environment is advantageous but not essential.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
