Job Description

As an Assistant / Cashier, your main responsibilities will be to provide excellent customer service at the point of sale, ensure accurate transactions, and promote the Clicks Clubcard program. You will also assist with merchandising, store housekeeping, and support the overall vision of Clicks as the customer’s first choice retail brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all POS activities quickly and accurately.
• Scan merchandise, collect payments, and process clubcard rewards.
• Handle cash securely and follow cash handling procedures.
• Promote and enrol new customers into the Clicks Clubcard program.
• Inform customers about current promotions to boost sales.
• Serve as a brand ambassador: stay visible and provide friendly, professional service.
• Maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards in line with store guidelines.
• Stay updated on product ranges, promotions and store events to provide accurate information.
• Support Clicks’ vision of being the customer’s first choice health & beauty retailer.

Knowledge & Understanding

• Basic math calculations.
• Retail/FMCG background and understanding of merchandising and promotion principles.
• Grasp of stock management procedures.
