Job Overview
The Clerk – Debrief Process will support the distribution team by ensuring that drivers’ daily jobs are accurately inspected, reconciled, and recorded. The role focuses on improving administrative processes, simplifying reconciliation, and providing timely information to the Distribution Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect driver jobs each day and flag any concerns.
- Prepare and plan driver loads to streamline reconciliation.
- Provide timely information to the Distribution Manager.
- Assist drivers in maintaining accurate and efficient administrative records.
- Record and reconcile diesel usage for all fleet vehicles, identify variances, and submit reports.
- Monitor, record, and process all stock damages and upliftments.
- Complete debriefing for cash, card, and EFT payments, ensuring full reconciliation.
- Conduct stock scanning in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and allocate returned stock to driver load sheets.
- Identify and record cash shortages, preparing Acknowledgement of Debt (AOD) forms when required.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF4).
- Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting is advantageous.
- At least 3 years of experience applying job-related concepts in logistics, journals, and invoicing.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Fluent Business English.
- Advanced computer literacy.
- Location in Kuruman is an advantage.
