Remuneration
- Graduate (360+ credits completed): R10 109,86 per month (basic salary, no benefits)
- Student enrolled: R3 500,00 per month (basic salary, no benefits)
Key Responsibilities
- Create and integrate graphics into the City’s brand, digital products, and social media.
- Design original pieces, including illustration and infographics, for print and digital media.
- Review and ensure high‑quality design work across all projects.
- Develop visual communication materials using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Toon Boom, and other relevant software.
- Coordinate production of design materials from conception to delivery.
- Collaborate with all Group Finance stakeholder units – Management Support, Revenue Shared Services Centre, Group Treasury, Group Accounting, Core Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Group Property, and the Chief Financial Officer.
- Research emerging design technologies and trends to provide thought leadership.
- Monitor and assess graphic design activities against ROI and KPIs.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric plus a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, Visual Arts, Marketing, or Web Design.
- Strong knowledge of graphic design principles and compatible software.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Toon Boom.
- Only residents of Johannesburg are eligible.
