About the Programme
The Citi South Africa Learnership Programme is a one‑year, full‑time internship designed for newly qualified university graduates. It provides hands‑on experience in Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM), helping you develop the skills needed to manage compliance risks across our business lines.
What You’ll Do
- Learn and apply regulatory frameworks relevant to banking and finance.
- Support risk assessments and policy implementation.
- Analyse data to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Contribute to safeguarding Citi’s reputation through a strong control environment.
- Network with cross‑functional teams and build a foundation for a long‑term career.
Who We’re Looking For
- Undergraduate or master’s degree holder with a GPA of 65 % or higher.
- Maximum of one year of work experience (not required).
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for learning and commitment to personal growth.
- Analytical and quantitative ability.
- Integrity and ethical decision‑making are essential.
- An interest in financial regulations and compliance is a plus but not mandatory.
