  • Clean, audit, and maintain the integrity of key datasets, including geospatial layers and databases.
  • Write user manuals and provide training to park staff on data collection tools and analytical reports.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions across Esri, Power BI, and other custom apps.
  • Research open‑source datasets and emerging technologies for potential integration into African Parks’ tools.
  • Digitise and preserve spatial datasets across our portfolio.

  • Strong interest in nature conservation and supporting local communities.
  • Experience with analysing and cleaning large datasets.
  • Familiarity with coding languages for analysis and integration, prioritising DAX & M (Power BI), R, Python, and SQL.
  • Working knowledge of geospatial tools, especially ArcGIS Pro and the Esri online environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership of projects.
  • Good data visualisation, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with ecological data collection.
  • Ability to design and deliver training to people with varied skill levels.
  • Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and a hunger to learn and innovate.

Desirable

  • Clear written and spoken communication in English.
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a small team.
