Hyundai Automotive South Africa is seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at the Hyundai Bruma location. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a background in automotive industry accounting to contribute to our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and complete records of all financial transactions for our automotive business operations
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure all accounts are properly balanced
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently
• Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts for business planning
• Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory filings in compliance with deadlines
• Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and financial institutions as required
• Monitor cash flow and assess the financial health of the business regularly
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Proven bookkeeping experience within the automotive industry preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
