Job Purpose
The role of a sales agent is critical for a company’s sales and growth. You will promote our products and services to potential customers using business directories and current client leads. Your job is to identify possible customers and provide them with clear information about our offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales: Sell products and services using solid arguments.
- Maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Achieve sales targets within scheduled timeframes.
- Work comfortably in a fast‑paced environment.
- Network with potential customers.
- Educate customers on each product and recommend solutions that meet their needs.
- Operate in a target‑driven manner.
- Quality Assurance: Verify that information entered into the system matches customer data.
- Deliver high standards of customer service and continually evaluate agent performance and resolution processes.
Required Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (advantageous).
- Good English language skills, written and verbal.
- Understanding of relevant legislation and the company’s TCH system.
- Honesty, integrity, accountability, and stress tolerance.
- Business acumen, discipline, and strong business sense.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team.
- Deliver results and meet customer expectations.

Education
Grade 12 required. A call centre certificate is advantageous.
Experience
Minimum one year in a sales environment selling funeral products. Experience with product knowledge transfer and quality assurance is required.
