Job Description

Bidvest Prestige Warehouse is looking for a reliable Administrative Assistant to support our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will help keep the warehouse running smoothly by handling a range of administrative and clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the warehouse management team.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations and documents.
  • Maintain accurate records and file documents.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Schedule appointments and meetings.
  • Help with data entry and record keeping.
  • Track office supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Answer and direct phone calls.
  • Perform general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning and filing.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an administrative or office assistant.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Previous experience in data entry.
