About the Internship

Barberton Mines is offering a valuable Internship Learning Programme for a recent graduate. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and develop professional skills within a dynamic mining environment. The successful candidate will be based at our Fairview Mine operation in Barberton.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must possess a BA Degree in Public Relations, Communications, or Media Studies that is recognized by SAQA.
• A minimum pass rate of 60% and above for all subjects in the final year of study is required. No subject failures are permitted.
• Excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in speaking SiSwati is a required skill for this role.
• Must be computer literate with a good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
• The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure is crucial.
• Must provide a valid Barberton Mines medical fitness certificate within 21 days of accepting the offer.
• Must have a clean criminal record.
• A valid driver’s license will be a significant advantage.
