The Car Park Attendant will report to the Operations Coordinator and will be responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and efficient operation of the car park. This role involves monitoring facilities, managing customer queries, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol car park areas to monitor equipment functionality and cleanliness.
- Report non‑compliance and follow up to ensure remedial action.
- Notify relevant personnel in case of emergencies.
- Participate in ad‑hoc services as required.
- Ensure proper handover to the next shift to limit disruptions.
- Investigate customer queries and raise escalation when necessary.
- Replenish change at pay stations.
- Manage and reconcile the daily float.
- Assist customers with change when needed.
- Adhere to statutory/legislative regulations, SOPs, operational standards, policies, and practices.
- Build, support, and maintain healthy relationships to achieve organisational goals.
- Ensure availability of trolleys in all parking areas.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (essential).
- At least 1 year of Car Park Attendant operational experience (essential).
- Code B motor vehicle licence.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
