About the Position
ACSA is looking for a dedicated General Assistant Trolley to join our Operations Management Division at King Shaka International Airport. As a key member of our team, you will support daily operations, maintain equipment, and ensure the safety and efficiency of our trolley services.
Key Responsibilities
- Report unserviceable equipment to the relevant stakeholders.
- Deploy trolleys on a daily basis.
- Ensure the safeguarding of all assets.
- Follow statutory, legislative, and SOP regulations along with operational standards.
- Implement risk controls to limit injuries and minimise liability.
- Compile and submit routine operational constraint reports.
- Keep accurate records of trolley stock levels and conduct trolly counts when required.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain effective operations.
- Assist customers whenever needed.
- Plan and monitor resource allocation based on demand and supply.
Required Skills and Experience
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) – essential.
- Ability to perform a range of manual tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good planning and organising abilities.
- Familiarity with an airport environment.
- Adherence to rules and policies.
Additional Requirements
- Proof of qualifications, NQF level, and credits must be provided for shortlisted candidates.
- Eligibility for Top Security Clearance within 3 months of appointment.
