Position Summary

The Wholegoods Administrator will be responsible for controlling all administrative aspects of wholegoods. The role supports sales, maintains accurate inventory records, coordinates with suppliers, and ensures smooth processing of orders and invoices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Circulate stock documentation to the sales team.
  • Ensure the accuracy of wholegoods documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining optimal stock levels.
  • Follow up on outstanding orders with suppliers.
  • Resolve queries and provide price information telephonically.
  • Identify slow-moving stock for transfer or sale.
  • Prepare and forward commission reports for processing.
  • Compile outstanding order reports and other sales reports.
  • Order equipment according to specifications.
  • Control invoices from agencies and arrange payments.
  • Follow up on overdue payments.
  • Report any stock availability concerns to management.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction, forestry, or agricultural products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Educational Requirements

  • Grade 12.
  • Office Management Diploma or Certificate.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in goods administration, preferably in equipment.
