Role Overview

The Admissions Officer will manage the entire admissions process, ensuring smooth, professional interactions with prospective families, staff, and visitors. This position supports the school’s administrative, financial, and operational functions while upholding our values and ethos.


Key Responsibilities

  • Screen and respond to all telephone calls, enquiries, and requests; redirect to the appropriate person when necessary.
  • Welcome visitors, including prospective families and stakeholders, at all levels.
  • Handle emails and perform general administrative tasks.
  • Support basic financial administration and record‑keeping as assigned.
  • Manage stock control for items such as stationery and furniture.
  • Coordinate with the central office, executive heads, secretaries, clients, suppliers, and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs as required.
  • Uphold the school’s values and professional standards in all interactions.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Head of School or Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate in Office Administration or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant experience in admissions, office administration, or client service.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and experience.
  • Experience with stock control (e.g., stationery, furniture) is preferred.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong telephone and email communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and conduct; able to interact with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to prioritise work.
  • Effective relationship‑building and a client‑service mindset.
  • Personal commitment to education and the school’s values/ethos.
  • Clear criminal record.
