Job Summary
We are looking for a detail‑oriented and customer‑focused person to join our team as an Administrator – Service Advisor. You will support the service department, help customers schedule appointments, coordinate service requests, and ensure a smooth experience between customers and technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and emails from customers and respond promptly.
- Schedule service appointments and keep accurate records of customer details.
- Coordinate service requests with technicians and ensure timely completion.
- Provide customers with updates on the status of their service.
- Assist with billing and invoicing tasks.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and quickly.
- Maintain organized records of all service transactions.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
- Keep departmental documentation such as service sheets, invoices, job cards, and warranty claims up to date.
- Ensure accurate and complete customer information in the database.
- Support the dealership in meeting industry standards of process.
Requirements
- Matric Certificate (NQF 4) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer‑service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Basic technical understanding – essential.
- Additional language skills are an advantage.
- 2‑3 years in the automotive service industry.
- Knowledge of OEM Group South Africa products.
- Understanding of internal procedures and basic technical background.
- Basic mathematical (numeracy) skills.
- Experience operating OEM systems.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
