Job Summary
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Administrator who will manage the warranty claims process for our automotive dealership. The ideal candidate will handle all warranty claims accurately and efficiently, keep customers and manufacturers informed, and support the service team with exceptional customer service.
Key Performance Areas
- Customer Satisfaction
- Accurate processing of all warranty claims in line with VWSA and dealership policies
- Effective communication with service staff and VWSA to resolve costing and warranty issues
Responsibilities
- Process warranty claims accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required documentation is submitted before deadlines.
- Communicate with customers about warranty claims, provide updates, and address inquiries.
- Maintain detailed records of warranty claims and repairs, including parts and labor costs.
- Work closely with manufacturers to resolve any disputes or issues with warranty claims.
- Train dealership staff on warranty claim procedures and best practices.
- Stay updated on manufacturer warranty guidelines and requirements.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Post‑secondary education in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive warranty administration or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of automotive warranties, including different types and coverage levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid driver’s license.
